What is On The Road?
On The Road (OTR) is ASD’s annual literacy expedition. It is the ultimate field trip. It is hands-on, experiential learning and true knowledge application at its finest.
High school students accompany staff to various locations across the United States to learn about our country’s rich history and its diverse cultures, landscapes, and people.
OTR is about teamwork, responsibility, observation, journaling, meeting people, describing experiences, developing literacy, and experiencing the majestic and magical places that make up our beautiful country.
